Academic Programs

We now live in a global world and we want to equip our children with the knowledge of positive things happening around the world. Through our partnership with no1 tutors, UK, we have partnerships with UK local schools. Our connecting classrooms program is a six weekly program that will connect our classroom with a UK classroom using technology. Students from Newton’s will have a common project with students from a school in England, and at the end of the project, they will share ideas through shared screen technology. This will be a very good exposure for both students from either side of the globe.

Enrichment Programs

Maths Olympiad: This will be taught on Saturdays and the curriculum is a ‘Maths for life’ approach. Children will learn Maths in an applied way which will enhance their skills in other aspects of the curriculum.
Debate and public speaking: Children will also be exposed to competitions both within and outside of school.
Islamiyyah: Every child will have a learning plan developed based on initial screen. The program will be target oriented. In line with our ethos, the curriculum has a holistic approach focusing on both Ibadat and Muamalat.
Other enrichment programs include: Cooking club, Recycle, build and create club, Robotics, Chess club, Football, Basketball, Art club, Sewing club, Computer club, Drama club, High jump, Table tennis. We truly hope that your child will have a memorable experience here at Newton’s Academy.
